Designer-style prints for Miss Selfridge’s prices: new capsule range
As any fashionista worth their Manolos will tell you, prints are BIG news for Spring 2012. For starters, scarf prints feature EVERYWHERE: in both high-end designer and high street collections. Speaking of high street, you may have noticed that the recent collections by Marni at H&M and Mary Katrantzou at Topshop both feature prints heavily!
Jumping on the print bandwagon are high street store Miss Selfridge, who are launching a capsule range for spring, all featuring abstract digitalised prints, which form their Spring 2012 “Designed By” collection. The pieces are all suposed to emulate “premium” labels, giving you that designer look for, well, Miss Selfridge prices!
As you can tell by the sea of light pinks, washed out greens and bright yellows above, the collection is set out from the brand’s “normal” range by the acidic washed out neon colours used in the designs. The holograpic mirror images really give the pieces a unique look.
Let’s take a look at Miss Selfridge’s new collection:
Details about the collection:
Each piece is designed to be worn differently: dress pieces up for going out, or dress down to achieve the currently popular “eclectic style”.
The prices range from £35 – £100.
The flagship Oxford Circus store will receive the new spring collection from the 29th of March, then you will be able to buy online and across the country in other stores from April 2012.
Update: Celebrities wearing Miss Selfridge’s “Designed By” collection:
