Patterned Tights
Today’s fashion spread is about a trend we can’t WAIT to try out: patterned tights. However, these patterned tights aren’t your usual, boring, lacy or striped numbers, oh no. These tights make a statement: they’re bold, loud and fun.
It’s not just us mere mortals who have gained a new found love of fun printed tights, celebrities have been spotted loving the trend too. Click here to see stars such as Peaches Geldof, Jameela Jamil and Leigh Lezark wearing funky, patterned tights.
Why we love patterned tights:
Patterned tights enable us girls to make an edgy statement effortlessly, by simply pulling on some hosiery. Plus they’re really affordable too, meaning we can update our wardobes by spending next to nothing! Awesome!
Here are our favourites:

Here are three of our top picks from Debenhams, from left to right:
- Left: “Black jack” patterned tights by Jonathan Aston, London. These playful rights are detailed with the black card suit design on sheer fabric. Very Alice in Wonderland! The tights are retailing at £12.00.
- Center: Star print House of Holland tights. These tights have been spotted on loads of A-listers, including Agness Deyn. They’re only £15.00 too, bargain!
- Right: Alphabet print tights from House of Holland. These super fun statement tights will add a unique edge to any outfit. Only £12.00.
What do you think of patterned tights?
Will you be trying the patterned tights trend? We think that while these tights look amazing, they may be difficult to pair with an outfit – perhaps a, skater dress, shorts or a mini skirt and of course, killer heels (the sparklier the better!) How will you be wearing yours?

[...] Printed tights are also huge at the moment, so don’t think you’ll only get to wear these once! Wear them later in the season with a skater dress and ankle boots, or a mini skirt and platforms. Patterned tights are the easiest way to add a bit of edge to your outfits. See this fashion spread we created on patterned tights. [...]
