Looking forward to spring

If the dull, dreary January weather is starting to feel a litte depressing, fear not. Pay day will soon be here! Use your January pay to treat yourself to something for spring or summer. We’re thinking floaty silk, floral prints and a dreamy colour palette.

Three of my favourite picks from Selfridges‘ NEW IN section:

floaty dresses and tops with gorgeous prints for spring

From left to right:

Left:  This feminine ruffly top features a washed out floral print and long, flowing cascading fabric at the front and back.  This will look gorgeous in both spring and summer, and would look great worn with jeggings, leggings, hot pants, tights or jeans.

The “Joyful Top” is by designer HIGH and it’s made from silk-chiffon.  This gorgeous top costs £320.  Click here to view.

Centre:  This is our favourite item for Spring/Summer 2012 – we think it’s absolutely stunning.  From the serene print to the gorgeous, feminine cut of the dress.

This dress is by designer Paul Smith Paul and it’s the Dandelion maxi dress in silk: it’s quirky, ethereal and lightweight.  It costs £305.00 – click here to view online.

Right:  This ‘Dandelion’ t-shirt is the same design as the gorgeous dress mentioned above, but it has a slightly bolder print.  In the hotter months wear this with beige or grey denim or a gorgeous maxi skirt.  This top is really versatile: as Autumn approaches you can wear this with darker jeans and a cropped jacket.

This Dandelion print t-shirt is made from jersey-cotton and costs £125.00.  Click here to view it in more detail.
